Welcome to Sally Port, St Mary’s

Welcome to the Isles of Scilly and our house, we love it and are sure you will too. The house is built to a reverse level (sitting room and kitchen upstairs) design to make the most of the truly stunning views. It provides spacious self catering holiday accommodation in a convenient yet quiet corner of the main settlement on St Mary's - Hugh Town. As well as offering an ideal base for exploring St Mary's and the 'Off Islands' the house has such a fine vantage point that you can spend many an hour simply soaking up the view from the sitting room. The house although modern cannot escape the history of the islands, nestling as it does under the Napoleonic Garrison Wall - today a home for many sparrows!

As well as telling you a bit about the house we will also use these pages to give you a personal taste of this magical corner of the world. Most of all we enjoy the freedom to roam the many paths and beaches - even in the height of summer you can find beaches without a soul in sight. We also like the quirks of island life such as Sunday papers on a Monday!
